Hey everyone, my name is Dave Morse and my wife and I are the Base Directors for AIM in New Zealand.
  .

I am from “down under.”
Was born in Auckland, New Zealand and also grew up in a Christian family.
My parents worked in the ministry their whole life working at Christian camps and pastoring churches.
They lived out daily what it meant to live a life surrendered to Christ.
At age 23 I set out to travel the world coming to America first.
I worked three months at a camp in Pennsylvania and then headed down to Texas to visit some friends.
I ended up staying there for a year working to build the Gateway, a camp that AIM owns in Mexico.

Trena was born in Rockford Illinois and grew up in a Christian family, although she didn’t have a relationship with God until she was 18. When Trena was 20, she went on her first short term mission project with AIM to Matamoros Mexico as a youth leader for her church.
Trena fell in love with missions and the people of Matamoros.
The next summer Trena went back as a participant on one of AIM’s very first intern teams (now called the real life team).
It was amazing and changed her life!
God made it clear that He wanted Trena to come on staff with AIM and work in Mexico.

 T
his is when we met.
We dated for a year and a half then got married.
We decided to take a year off the ministry to focus on our marriage so we moved to NZ.
We had originally planned to stay one year but God had other plans.
Two children and four years later God brought us back to work with AIM again.
A year later He blessed us with a third child.
Ashley is seven and in September
2004 she asked Jesus in her heart (which we’re pretty excited about).
She loves worship, crafts and talking (she talks a lot!)
Caleb has just gone six in January and is 100% boy – he is on the go!
If you don’t see or hear Caleb you need to RUN to find him!
On the other hand, he has a real soft heart.
  Joshua is a joy!
He is four years old and smiles and laughs none stop.
He is such a testimony to me in that no matter what he goes through (which has been a lot up to now) he is always joyful.

Trena and I seek daily to live a life surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Not many people can say that they LOVE what they do but we do.
We love having the opportunity to lead people into a deeper relationship with Christ and show them how to be even more effective within the body of Christ.
Trena and I enjoy traveling, skiing, creating things with our hands (i.e.: building or making things), and hanging out with people. We love Jesus with all our hearts and seek to grow deeper in our relationship with him.
God has been so faithful and has given us so many amazing stories of the things he has done in our lives.

We look forward to sharing these with you as well as hearing what God has done in your life.
God bless you as you seek his direction for you life.

God Bless Dave and Trena Morse
